Franklin Rice, son of Frank Patrick Rice and Clemmie Parker Rice was born on December 11, 1940, in Conroe, Texas and passed away peacefully on May 9, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia, and is now at the feet of Jesus Christ.

He was married to Leota Schmalz Rice and this union was blessed with four children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

His humble and giving life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Danna Ann Rice, Darrin Rice and wife Julie, Dawn Davis and husband Frank, Darrell Rice and wife Brenda. Frank was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Conroe and his faith in Jesus Christ has been instilled in all of his family. Making sure that everyone has accepted and loved Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior was very important to him. As a result of his generous spirit and humble personality, he was loved by many and his influence in the lives he touched will forever remain in all those who knew him.

Frank was a Mason and member of the Conroe Lodge #748. He loved hunting, fishing, coaching, working out, but most of all PawPaw loved his family and grandchildren. Hearing his gentle voice sing "You Are My Sunshine" and "Jesus Loves Me" will never fade from our hearts.
