Fritz Byer Obituary
, 84, died Thursday, November 30. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Mary (Holman) Byer; his daughter, Sherrill Warmack and her husband R.C. Warmack; his grandson, Travis Warmack; his granddaughter, Melani Fry and her husband Chris Fry. He also leaves two great grandchildren, Tristan Warmack and Audrey York. He was preceded in death by his son, Fritz c. Byer III "Rocky"; his parents, Fritz C Byer, Sr. and Minnie (Pomykal) Byer; his siblings, Mary (Byer) Bandy, John Byer, Lester Byer, and Sam Byer. He will be greatly missed by his large family and many friends.
He was born and raised in Marlin, TX. Fritz served in the Navy and was honorably discharged with an AM3 rating after 4 years. He worked in the petrochemical industry for 36 years and retired as a Supervisor at US Industrial Chemical Corporation in Deer Park, TX. He was a member at Parkwood United Methodist Church in Pasadena, TX.
A funeral service in memory of Fritz will be held on Tuesday, December 5 at 10am at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd, Pasadena with Rev. Royce Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
