Jack Willard Laxton, born on January 26, 1924 in Pasadena, CA, passed away on May 8, 2014 in Conroe, TX. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Mae Laxton; son Garry David Laxton and his grandson Matthew James Laxton. He grew up in Liberty, OK. Jack served in the US Navy on the USS Silver bell in the South Pacific during World War II from 1943 through 1945. Jack worked for the Phillips Chemical Company in Pasadena, TX from 1949 until 1986 when he retired. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home with a Graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in Grand View Memorial Park.
