Jewel Wright, 93, of Pasadena, TX passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018. She was born in Red Boiling Springs, TN on November 4, 1925 to Maebelle and Patrick Reagan. She was married to Patrick Wright for 49 years. Jewel worked as a volunteer for Faith Assembly of God and other churches in states where she lived. She was a member of the Women's Ministry and Choir and had a passion for cooking and hospitality.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick C. Wright; sons, Fredrick D. Stilz and Patrick C. Wright, Jr; grandson, Dustin L. Wright; sisters, Annis Marie Mitchell and husband Albert, Eugenia Ruth Buckner and husband Jim; and brother, Elvis Wayne Reagan and wife Dot. She is survived by her daughter, Suzan Ann Wright Patterson and husband Frankie; grandchildren, Debborah Kay Stilz Kuras, Ronald Glen Stilz and wife Yvonne, Robert Edward Stilz and wife Vicki, Vanessa Sharee Wright Cordell and husband Guy, Jr, Michael Patrick Wright and wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Michael Kuras, Loree Kuras Smith, David Kuras, Jason Stilz, Matthew Stilz, Jamie Stilz, Jessica Stilz, Jennifer Stilz, Robbie Stilz, Guy C. Cordell, III, Ava Jewel Cordell, Cora Grace Cordell, Aubree Eilene Wright and Preslee Channel Wright; great great grandchildren, Promyse, Justyce, Essynce, Michael, Shaylee and Seth; niece, Linda Buckner Hobbs and husband Mike; nephew, Mark Buckner and wife Michaela.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Faith Assembly of God, 3940 Vista Rd, Pasadena, TX 77504. Jewel's Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00pm. Interment Houston National Cemetery.
