John David Becker, Sr. passed away on February 24, 2013 in Pasadena, TX at the age of 53. He was born on October 4, 1959 in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 12:00 in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment followed in Grand View Memorial Park. Our Pumper has grown a beautiful set of wings and a golden Bass.I was so saddened by your passing. Our last conversation you were excited about getting to go home. Well Pumper you made it my friend. Such a sad loss for us. Yet I have to rejoice knowing that you are now in full body, breathing easily. and pain free. I would bet you are up there kickin it with Stevie Ray and Jimmy as I write this. Thank you for all the conversations we shared. For your love of life and your gift of laughter. For your strong stance to make the best out of the worst. Pumper you were and still are an inspiration to so many.Thank you for your loyalty to the Wayne Davis Band and giving us all so many laughs. But Most of all Pumper I want to thank you for your unfailing friendship. Always an ear to listen or a kind thought to share.
