John was a man of great wit & humor in his every day life. He brought laughter to me, his everyday dining companion at Golden Corral Restaurant. He was friends to every server, & every regular customer. I was a recent widower who enjoyed his wisdom & wit. He brought me and all other a brighter day, everyday.

Dad, you taught us so much during our time with you. You showed all of your kids how to respect themselves, but more importantly, how to respect and care for others. I like to think that everyone who you touched with your love and kindness became a better person because of you.
You will most certainly be missed, but never forgotten. I love you.

I met John when I was 5 years old. That was 56 years ago. John, Jean, and all the kids are more like family than just friends. We loved the times that we spent at the lake. John and Jean will be forever in my heart.

John was my daily dinner companion at Golden Corral Restaurant.
He brightened everyone's day with his sharp witty comments.
He was a GREAT friend to everyone he met.
He knew & joked with every guest, wait-staff-person, & manager.
Betty Valentine, the very best waitress, took the ultimate best care of John.
We will miss John SO VERY MUCH every day, as we recall his smile & brilliantly-funny comments.
I send my deepest condolences to all John's family. We have ALL lost a GREAT companion in our lives!!!!
