Punky, Kim and Family,
Keith Nathan was my late son's (Tommy Atkins) best and closest friend. they grew up togather, and Keith was a pall bearer at Tom's funeral in 1983, and if Tom was alive today i'll bet he would be a part of Keith's funeral. I loved Keith like a son. He was in and out of our house like a member of our family. When my daughter Jennifer called and told me of Keith's death I couldn't stop crying. Though I hadn't seen him in years I still had that special feeeling for him. Punky, as a parent I know you will never get over this. Your hope is in God's hands

Keith was like a brother to me when I was a little girl. He was my older brother's (Tommy Atkins) best friend for many, many years. Tommy was a pall bearer for Keith's brother Mark, and a few months later, Keith would be a pall bearer for my brother Tommy. And Howard and Punky were a great comfort to my parents at that time. When I called my 82-year-old dad (Jack Atkins) to tell him about Keith's passing, he bursted into sobs. We love Keith and will be praying for his family in the days to come.
