Laura Walla Obituary
Laura Agnes Walla passed away on August 28, 2011 in Pasadena, TX at the age 79. She was born on December 11, 1931 in Port Neches, TX to the union of Clarnece Parks, Sr. and Laura Thompson-Parks. Laura is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Clarnece Parks, Jr., Herbert O. Parks, John A. Parks, Sr., George A. Parks; and 1 sister, Mary Olga Baker. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Leonard Walla; 2 children, Laurie Reho and her husband John, and Michael Walla; 1 sister, Rita Varner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation and vigil services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Words of comfort may be shared with the family by visiting grandviewfunerals.com.
