Lillian High Obituary
Lillian High, 82, found Wednesday February 15,2012. Preceded in death by husband and 2 grandchildren. Survived by 10 children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10am on Friday February 24, 2012 at Grace Community Church, located at 14505 Gulf Fwy, Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to: Laura Recovery Center, TX Equisearch or MD Anderson Center. A special thank you to HPD for all their efforts. Ever since her disappearance was announced, I was following any news they had on her, I guess she reminded me of my own dear mom. I was truly glad when finally her body was found and the family had closure. May Jesus have her in the palm of His hand,and God bless all of her family. Rest in peace Lillian!

Amy and to your entire family, My heart is heavy but at the same time joyful you have been able to put closure in knowing you have found your sweet mom. I hope you find peace now knowing your mom is now in heaven. I am so very sorry I was unable to attend the service but don't think for one moment my thoughts and prayers were not with you and your family. Hold that precious new grand baby and enjoy him. Take the lessons your mom taught you along with the traditions and pass them to him. Your mother's memory and life will live through you. God Bless

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I helped search for Lillian hoping the whole time we could bring her home. Little did we know she was already home and safe in the arms of the good Lord above. As painfull as it is to have answers, at least the answers bring closure and the knowledge that Lillian is safe. Our prayers go out to the High family and our deepest thanks to all who assisted and prayed for the recovery of Lillian High. Our God is an awesome God and even during times like these we must remember when we put our faith in God's precious hands, He puts His peace in our hearts. Lil I remember all the mornings that we were able to talk at the bank as we waited for customers. You shared your thoughts and memories with me and that I will always cherish. I never knew Ms. High but had seen her many times when visiting the bank in my neighborhood. The events of the last few months touched a community and we prayed along with you for her safe return. Betsy & Amy and all of your family, I remember your precious mom when we were growing up.
