Mark Elray "Little Mac" McNeil, 92, of Pasadena, TX went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 11, 2013.
He was born Nov. 11, 1920 in Jacksonville, TX to Esca and Maude McNeil. Mark was preceded in death by both Parents, Brother Esca McNeil Jr., Sister, Maydell McNeil, Wife of 54 years, Jewel McNeil, 2nd Wife of 11 years, Dorothy McNeil, Son, Carvel Lee McNeil, Grandson, Carvel Lee "Corky" McNeil, Jr., and Son-In-Law, Larry Pope.
Mark was one of the original residents of Pasadena, TX and graduated from Pasadena High School in 1938. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He retired from Shell Refinery in Deer Park, TX after working 45 years!
He is survived by two Brothers, James McNeil of Pasadena, TX and Ralph McNeil of Cleveland, TX, Daughter, Peggy Pope of Lago Vista, TX, Son, Caree McNeil and wife, Barbara of Pasadena, TX, and Daughter-In-Law, Dama McNeil of Houston, TX. He is also survived by eight Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Ricky McNeil, Mark McNeil, Scott McNeil, Glen Buzek, Clayton Duff and Ricky "R.G." McNeil, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, January 14th at Niday Funeral Home. The service celebrating Mark's life will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, January 15th at Niday Funeral Home at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston 77089. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.

Dear Family - You have my deepest heartfelt condolences. May God be with you to bring you comfort and peace through this difficult time. He promises at Isaiah 61:2, 65:8, to actually do away with death forever; ... will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.
