Michael Wayne Walker, Sr., 62, passed away May 9, 2014 in Houston, TX. Michael was born April 15, 1952 in Jacinto City, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, L.C. Walker, Jr.; sister, Mary Katherine Prock; brother, Larry Douglas Walker. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Virgie Walker; son Michael Wayne Walker, Jr. & wife Adriana; fiancée Georgetta Labello; sister Jo Ellen Walker Allen; brothers David & John Walker; grandchildren Jordyn, Mia & Isabella Walker; life-long brother & friend Charles Mobley; numerous extended family members & friends. Funeral services were held 10 am May 14, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home; graveside services followed at Kitchens Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas.

Mike was a man that my boys & I looked up to and respected very much.
He was a real sport when it came to coaching Tiger football.
I hate I missed his funeral but pray for his family and loved ones.
