Mildred Secrest Obituary

Mildred Pruitt Secrest passed away January 12, 2013. She was a member of Collierville United Methodist Church of Collierville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Burdett Secrest of 46 years; her parents, Charlie and Mamie Pruitt; brothers, Delton Pruitt, Russell Pruitt, Jack Pruitt, and Milton Pruitt; sisters, Helen Pruitt and Christine Wisdom; sisters-in-law, Margaret Pruitt, Reba Pruitt, Aline Pruitt and Maxine Pruitt.

Mildred is survived by her sons, Stan Secrest (Gail), and Steve Secrest (Julie); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, Arkansas. Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Antioch Cemetery, Beebe.

Our association with Mildred is a cherished memory of a beautiful person,inside and out.She was an Angel,so caring when Harold's brother (Robert) was sick, and we loved her dearly.Her sons and family were her pride and joy.May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow and may your precious memories of her be ever alive in your hearts.__Elva Nell and Harold Johnson
