Patrick W. Grider
LOAMI, IL - Patrick W. Grider, 32, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, as the result of a car accident.
He was born Jan. 6, 1982, the son of David and Jill Neff Grider.
He married Holly Hemberger on June 10, 2006.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Hadley, and grandmother, Collette Grider.
Surviving are his wife, Holly; two daughters, Quincy and McKenna; mother, Jill Neff Grider of Girard; father and step-mother, David and Linda Grider of Carlinville; siblings, Matthew (Elizabeth) Grider of Palmyra; Dakota and Kaytee Grider, both of Franklin; grandparents, Darrel Grider and Leonard and Gerry Neff; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Auburn. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at the church with Deacon Denny Baker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chatham.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his children's education fund.

We don't understand God's plan and many hearts are broken. I remember playing soccer with Pat and goin to St. Patrick's church through our Girard school years. Words can't explain how heartbroken his friends and family are. Prayers to your family and trust in God through all of this.
