Phyllis Santos Obituary
Phyllis Ann Santos, 74, of South Houston, Texas, passed away December 23, 2017, at her home surrounded by family. She was born January 4, 1943, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Dominick Tuminello and Alice Tarifa.
She graduated from Ball High School in 1961. Over the years she enjoyed being a member of the PTA, South Houston High School Janette's drill team mom, City of South Houston Beautification Committee and Crime Control. She was also a member of the Krewe of Aquarius in Galveston, TX and was a crossing guard for Pasadena ISD and loved children. Phyllis loved clowning around and could be seen as Trinket the Clown on many occasions.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Santos, her daughters, Stephanie and son in law, Michael McDonald of Rockport, TX; Alisha and son in law, Christopher Wells of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Jessica McDonald Carter and husband Justin; Clarissa McDonald, Patton and Jackson Wells; and great granddaughter, Ellie.
A visitation was held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11am- 1pm followed by the Funeral Service at 1pm at South Main Baptist Church 4300 E. Sam Houston Parkway South in Pasadena, TX 77505 with funeral procession to Forest Park East Cemetery 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, TX 77598 immediately following service.
Phyllis will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and die hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
