I first met Bob in the Air Force in 1958 where he was my TI in basic training. The picture is of Bob with three graduates from basic; Brice, Rod & Glenn. Over the years since then, we became very good friends. Even through we did not spend much time together, whenever we did meet, time collasped as if no time had past. I think of Bob often and remember all the great visits we did have.
Bob, you will always be my friend and I will miss you, your laughter, our visits and will remember you always.

I had Mr. Ervin as a professor in 1969. I earned 2 degrees and he was by far the best professor I had. I loved history more than ever because of him. Prayers to your family. Rest in peace, Mr. Ervin.

Oh my, we didn't know in time to go to Robert's funeral. Sandra and family, our prayers are with you during this time of sadness. We all know that Robert is rejoicing, worshiping, praising the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. But, that doesn't keep us from missing him. Love to you and your family.

I remember the first time Aunt Bertha & Uncle Will brought Bob as a baby to visit us and the baby picture of him reminded me how much we all loved him. I was five years old. Through the years many fond memories. My thoughts are with all of his family and know you have lost a really wonderful man. Love to Sandra and all of his family. Sissy

Uncle Bobby is who he was to me. He was always our fun, young Uncle. My brother John and I had lots of fun memories. From the Bay house, his old red and white Ford, our Winter Christmas together in the frigid North Wausau,Wisconsin. Many New years parties and lots of visits to Irving,Texas too. I was his only Niece for a long time and I was spoiled by his love and laughter. I will miss him so very much, and it hurts now. But I'm happy he knew Jesus and is with him in Heaven and also with his first family. Till we meet again, Uncle Bobby, I love you, Joannie McCammon Walker
