Robert "Bob" Nancarrow of North East, Maryland passed away July 17, 2013. Bob was born on June 7, 1943 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to George D. Nancarrow and Audrey E. Nancarrow. Bob's parents and two brothers moved to the Houston/Pasadena area in 1954. Bob became an American citizen in 1963. He attended South Houston High School and joined the Navy in 1963. He served during the Vietnam War and served on four U.S. Air Carriers during his 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Audrey, Father, George and Brother William. He is survived by son Robert Nancarrow of Pasadena, daughter Kathleen Williams of Kemah, and the mother of his children Camille Nancarrow of Pasadena and his brother Douglas Nancarrow of Baytown. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob will be remembered for his love of fast cars from the muscle car era and his humor. A Memorial service will be at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 3811 North Main St., Baytown, Texas 77521 at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Mike Proctor will be officiating. At Bob's request his ashes will be spread at sea so he can join his brothers and sisters of the Navy, the following Saturday by a small gathering in the Kemah area.
