Roberta Benton (July 19, 1955 ~ Feb. 20, 2012) at the age of 56 passed away February 20th. She was born to Betty Jo and Victor Ward of Kansas City, Kansas on July 19, 1955. Roberta was a graduate of Piper High School in Kansas City.
Roberta is survived by her loving husband Dale Allen Benton; her beautiful daughter Brittany Lee Benton; grandson Zaiden Allen Lyvon Benton-Colbert; father Victor Ward and Rose Ward; Grandma Iva Schumake; brothers Wayne and Tommy Ward; sisters Dee Dee Charles and Tammy Long all of Kansas City, Kansas. She also leaves multitudes of wonderful friends, all of which she considered family. A celebration of her adventurous life was held at her home in Deer Park, TX, Saturday, February 25, 2012. In lieu of flowers & tears, the family asks that you bring stories of her many adventures that will bring nothing but laughter for this is how she wanted to be remembered.

Red and Brittany, So Very Sorry to hear of Your

My thoughts and prayers for you and Brittany. U guys were part of my life, first friends, early years of life for over 10 yrs when I moved to Houston, and I have alot of memories. I knew her for many years before I married her Sister. She was one Crazy Kid when we were young and she really never changed. She was always a blast to be around and never let things get boring. She lived life on her terms and apologized for nothing....RIP Roberta, we'll never forget you!!!!!
