Roy Duwayne Fuller, better known as Pot Hole Roy, 51, paved his way to heaven January 19, 2013 where his father Harry Fuller and brother Hank Fuller were waiting at the gates for him with open arms. He was born and raised in Deer Park, graduated from Deer Park High in 1980, and lived in Lomax. Roy ran a successful asphalt paving business for many years - Pot Hole Roy's Asphalting.
God broke the mold when he created Roy. He was one of a kind - hardworking, tuff and ruff on the exterior, but a heart of gold. You wanted to ring his neck, but you couldn't help but love him. Roy went out of his way to help others and always had a smile even as his cancer was literally choking the life out of him. Everywhere he went, he got to know those he came in contact with and always had a joke and a smile for them all. He will be greatly missed by many many.
He is survived by his mother Mary Fuller Williams; daughter Ashley Fuller; sister Delecia Fuller Turner; grandson Aiden Fuller; stepson Austin Dominey; stepdaughter Christen Dominey; former wife Brenda Dominey; nieces Maranda Turner and husband Reese, Brittany Thomas and husband Andy and Madison Albert; aunts and uncles Becky and Ernest West, Bleu and Dickey Beathard, Jiggs Ener and Colleen Beathard; numerous cousins; nieces and nephews; thousands of friends; and his dog Glenn.
Roy is preceded in death by his father, brother, step-father Gene Williams, grandparents Earl and Clara Beathard and granny Bernice Fuller.
A Celebration of Roy's life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11am at Niday Fairmont Funeral Home, 6777 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 77505. Visitation will be immediately preceding ceremony from 10am to 11am. Casual attire required.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Hope & Joy, P O Box 5111, Pasadena, TX 77508 or www.joyandhope.org.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Pat Brooks, Mikey Alford, Thad Demetrio, Gene Rawlinson, Randy Hulsey, Scott Gorton, and Herman Olivier for their unending friendship and help during Roy's final days.

Dee and Mary Sue,our hearts and prayers are with you. Thinking of Roy reminds us of Ps30:5 "weeping may endure for night but JOY comes in the morning". The joy of knowing he is in a better place with no pain, the reunion with his loved ones. The joy Mary and I enjoyed watching him grow up, his infectious smile, his uniqueness and free spirit. He was special and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. God Bless you all. Jim and Mary Amos
