Steven Wray Harper, 50, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his home. He was the most loving and devoted husband to Carolann Harper. They shared 12 wonderful years together. He was born in Conroe, Texas. He was the only son of Betty and Charles Harper. He graduated from Altheimer High School in Arkansas, and went on to work for Chevron Phillips for almost 32 years. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, pretty much anything that had him outside. He was dedicated to the S bar S hunting lease and spent as much time there as he could. He worked hard even on his days off. Above all else he loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carolann Harper; parents, Betty and Charles Harper; sister, Angie and husband Rick Hardy; children, Steffney and Michael Davis, Sarah Harper and Robert Gilbert, Ray and Samantha Isbell; nephews, Justin, Joey and Charlie; niece, Nikki; grandchildren, Hunter, Tristian, Brendan, Katelyn, Jenna and Isabella as well as many loving friends. A celebration of Steven's life will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 beginning at 3:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas.
