Suzanne Sims passed away in her home on November 2, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born April 27, 1944 in San Augustine, TX.
She graduated from Stephen F. Austin University. Mrs. Sims has been a resident of Pasadena, TX since 1970 and worked for Pasadena ISD as a Reading Teacher for over 30 years. When she retired she was very active with the Retired Teachers Education. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Sim attended Sunset United Methodist Church and became faithful worker with the United Methodist Women's Organization and the Pasadena friends of the library.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Prentis and Ethel Hightower and her brothers, John Hightower and Elton Hightower.
Mrs. Sims leaves behind her husband, George P. Sims Jr.; son, Christopher Sims; sister in laws, Brenda Hightower and Sue Hightower; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10 10am at Sunset Untied Methodist Church in Pasadena, TX.

Suzanne touched so many lives. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. I was very privileged to have worked with her at Park View.
