Thomas Ellen Obituary
Ellen Joanne Thomas, 81, of La Porte, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014. She is survived by her children, Michael Leon Thomas and Nina Jo Cole along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 18, at 3:00pm at Faithbridge Church, where she was a longstanding member.

Joanne was such a beautiful person and she always greeted me with a smile and kiss on the cheek asking how my day is. And I know she is watching over everyone she loves and cares for. And I have never been so happy to get to know you.

My prayers are with the family of Joanne. She was such a sweet, giving person. I first got to know her when working with the Rainbows group at our church over 25 years ago. She truly loved people and served the Lord by giving and nurturing the children. She will be missed!
