Tomas Castaneda Obituary
Tomas Castaneda passed away in Houston, TX on June 26, 2013 at the age of 78. He was born on September 22, 1934 in San Benito, TX to Rodolfo and Romana Castaneda. Tomas is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Elizabeth Castaneda; and sister, Maria Yanez. He is survived by 3 sons, Abraham Castaneda and his wife Cathy, Nathan Castaneda, and Ezekiel Castaneda and his wife Amanda; 11 grandchildren, Nicholas Castaneda and his wife Kelli, Michael Castaneda and his fiancé Evan, Loren Ferguson and her husband Caleb, Zachary Castaneda, Natalie Castaneda, Carly Castaneda, Abby Castaneda, Kaylee Castaneda, Zoe Castaneda, Kayla Beneze, and Daniel Beneze; 3 great grandchildren, Owen Castaneda, Mason Castaneda, and Savannah Pauling; 3 sisters, Olivia Rodriguez, Ana Abrego and her husband Manuel, Diana Cordova and her husband Joe.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Grand View Funeral Home on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Monday July 1, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Those desiring to do so may make a contribution in memory of Tomas to Houston Hospice, Development Department, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
