Vincent Rinando Obituary

Vincent Sam Rinando Sr 83, passed away peacefully Monday April 5th, 2021. He was Born July 2, 1937 in Houston to Sam J Rinando and Jeannette Maida Rinando. Vincent attended Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from St Thomas High School, Class of 1955. He attended The University of Texas and was a member of The Army Reserve 111th Medical Battalion. Vincent co-owned and operated Alamo Pharmacy with his Father Sam and his Brother John until 1986. After retiring from the Pharmacy business, Vincent also worked for Houston Shoe Hospital, and Letsos Company Mechanical Contractors.

Vincent was married to the Love of his Life Barbara Richardson Rinando for 61 years. Vincent was preceded in death by parents Sam J, and Jeannette M Rinando, Brother John Maida Rinando and son Danny W Rinando. Vincent is survived by his wife Barbara Rinando, Daughters Terri Rinando Shaver, Jeannette Rinando Harrison, sons Sam V Rinando and Vincent S Rinando Jr.

Vincent was a devoted Husband, Father, Father in Law, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends that he loved dearly. Vincent was a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Association and served as a volunteer Committeeman for over 40 years.

Vincent had a deeply felt passion for the outdoors, and loved fishing, hunting and working on projects at his ranch. He loved sitting in a chair on the end of the Pier at his Bay House on West Galveston Bay, fishing and sharing stories with family and friends. He also cherished the times he spent with his brother and best friend John M Rinando at their adjacent ranches near Weimar, TX. His Body may have left this Earth, but His Spirit, and The Love he left us will be felt for many, many years to come. Services are pending.
