Aunt Millie was always the chicest person in the room, without even trying. She never colored her hair and went to a barber shop. Her home was warm & welcoming with delicious food. I showed up on her doorstep and stayed with her for two weeks, that changed the course of my life.

I will think of my mother every day for the rest of my life. Our relationship was so close that I sometimes think we merged selves. Anything that's good about me likely derived from my father, who's be gone twenty four years, and for a number of reasons probably moreso my mother.
