Nancy Ann Smith

Nancy Ann Smith, 63 of Discovery Bay, California passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 in West Sacramento. She was born March 26, 1957, in Knox, Indiana to Grady and Betty Smith. Ms. Smith moved from Michigan to Pasadena, California with her family in 1967 where she attended Marshall Secondary School and then PCC, both in Pasadena. She moved from Southern California to Discovery Bay in 1992. She married Chet A. Yashuk on July 22, 1995. She worked for GMC Financial since 2013. She is survived by her sister Dixie (Frank) Corlett and nieces Ren‚e (Dave) Milbrandt, Macy (Dale) Brooks and Antonia (Edward) Salazar; grand-niece, Carmen Salazar and grand-nephew Luca Salazar all of Southern California. Preceding her in death was her husband Chet A. Yashuk in 2019, her mother Betty in 2020 and father Grady in 1988. Ms. Smith is to be interned at Oak View Memorial Park in Antioch beside her husband on April 1, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Memorial gifts can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to West Sacramento Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
