Always loved bumping into Stan at T-Phillips, and around town. Would give a shout out almost daily driving past their house just down the street. Took many lessons from Stan, although there´s no help for me. I´ve recorded Stan during a lesson and love playing back. Took lots of pictures of him playing. TONS of awesome memories of him that will live forever.

We never met Stan in person, but his voice said so much about him. In conversation, he was present, kind, and unassuming. In music, he sang what he lived and brought us into what he experienced.
Our great consolation is someday we will spend time talking and listening to his music right by his side.

Kathee, As you know Stan has been a good friend for so many years. Always enjoyed running into you two in the Village. I wish I were able to get up and speak at his memorial but it's something I just have never been able to do, hope you understand. His friendship over the years has meant a lot and please know we are here if we can help with anything.
Love to you and Stan's family

We loved catching up with Stan on our morning walks on the way to drop my kids off at school. The kids looked Forward to seeing him every morning. They were excited when his wife gifted us his music CD! The kids still love listening to him play. You will be so missed!

I can see Stan walking up the street to my house, guitar case in hand. "I remember you like this one, George...key of A" He begins playing the intro to "My Old Friend" Running into Stan and Kathee on morning walks. Christmas decorations in the West home that seemed endless...........and so much more.
