Angela Gomez Obituary
Our precious Angel, Angela "Angie" Christine Gomez, went to be with the heavenly angels on October 1, 2017. She was born December 26, 1996 in Riverside, California. Angie was involved with Riverside Children's Theater and Poly Cheer and Song. She was an alumnus of Poly High School, class of 2015. She went on to Riverside City College where she studied and received her nursing assistant certificate, she was waiting to get into the nursing program, her goal was to get her LVN to RN and ultimately receive a BSN. She was a natural born caregiver who loved all people and animals, making sure each one felt special. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
Angela is survived by her parents Steve and Julie Gomez; sisters Tawny Finn and Toni Gomez; brothers Chad Finn and Jeremy Gomez; long time boyfriend and love of her life Ethan Sanchez; nieces Leila Grace and Ariel Serene.
A Celebration of Life remembering Angie will be on Tuesday,, October 17 from 10 am - 12 pm at Harvest Christian Fellowship, 6115 Arlington Ave., Riverside. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions made in Angela's name to Riverside Children's Theater, 2900 Adams St., Ste B4, Riverside, CA 92504 or to Riverside Poly Cheer & Song, c/o Poly High School Ms. Lupe Avila, 5450 Victoria Ave., Riverside, CA 92506. Angela I did not know you but I heard a lot spoken about you at our Wednesday night service at Harvest Christian Fellowship yesterday 10/18/17. I share your grief at the loss of Angela, a cousin I never had the pleasure to meet. But one day in heaven I will. Her grandfather & my dad Fidi were cousins.. We are all part of the family of God. .our story ends in the embrace of His loving arms and a welcome smile. May you find peace in His promise that he has prepared a place for her in his home. Angie, I don't want to believe that losing you here on earth has really happened, but I know that it has and I may never understand why. I'm going to miss you so much Angie. In fact, I really do right now and I always will. Nobody I've ever known or observed in my life is more kind and as nice as you were Angie. I'm going to do my best to honor your life by living mine as best I can by your example. Angie, I was so glad that when I painted your bedroom the end result made you so happy. I was glad it was me that did it! You're gone now which makes me believe God needs you more than we do here and now you're one of His angels and watch over us. I will always carry memories and love for you in my heart Angie, as will family, friends, and every other person whose life was touched by you and made better everyone whose life you touched and made better because of it.
