IT HAS BEEN A LITTLE OVER TWELVE YEARS SINCE WE LOST 'JERRY' ROGERS, AND THOSE OF US WHO KNEW HIM STILL HAVE HIM VIVIDLY IN OUR MEMORIES. 'YODAR' (A UNIQUE NICKNAME) IS TRULY UNFORGETABLE, AND ALL THE REMEMBRANCES ARE POSITIVE, HE ENRICHED THE LIFE OF ALL WHO KNEW HIM. HIS NAVY FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS WHO KNEW HIM FOR SO MANY YEARS ARE DOUBLY FORTUNATE TO HAVE SHARED SO MUCH OF HIS LIFE.

When I first met Jerry, I was a young widowed mom with three small children. He hired me when I needed a job the most. We worked together (he was the boss) for many years until we both were promoted to different offices. I can not begin to espress the many ways Jerry touched my life. I will miss him. My deepest sympathy to the family. Rest in the peace of knowing we will see him again.

I met Jerry many years ago when Lisa and Lynn were very young. He was an interesting man, very creative with woodworking. I still have the clock he made for me. Will treasure the memories. My prayers are with you and the family during this trying time.

Jerry (Yodar) Rogers, and I were stationed in Guam, 1957 & 58, then in Kami Seya '58 & 59, and again aboard the USS Jamestown 1966-67. He came and visited us in Bremerhaven, Germany in 1969 or '70. We have kept in contact all these years, and I was stunned when I got the news that he is gone. God Bless Jerome (Jerry, Yodar critch) Rogers. My deepest sympathy to Lucia. Dick Sorensn

I was statiioned with Yodar Critch on two duty stations (Skaggs Island and Okinawa) Yodar gave me my first ride up a hill on his motorcycle and that hooked me into buying a bike. We partied a lot together and became great friends. I was so shocked to hear of his passing and so sad that he is gone. My sincerest condolences to Lucia and all his family
