Lonnie Wesley Obituary
Dr. Lonnie D. Wesley, Sr. 85 died Tuesday. He was the retired pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He is lovingly survived by five children & their spouses as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Sat 1 pm at Greater Little Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Blackmon, officiating and Rev. W. J. Dailey, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens. Viewing today noon - 6 pm at Benboe Funeral Home.

Durant I would always stop by the N HOME , and visit , and Pray with him. I remember giving him water to drink , and he would look up at me ,and say that is good good, and smile ,and say thank you so much . REV. Wesley for what you have done.

The Wesley family is and has always been near and dear to my heart. I share in their sorrow. I vaguely remember Rev. Wesley's Quartet days, I believe he sang with "The Zion Travelers" . What I do know, without a doubt, is Rev. preached sound doctrine and he had a whoop, that could NOT be imitated.

As a teen and young adult, I had the pleasure of being a member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Wesley.
