Sister Minnie Mae was my "adopted Grandmother".We worked together years ago at S.S.Dixon in the cafeteria. She was such a warm loving person and loved me and showed the love of God to me.I missed my own dear grandmother because she lived far away so one day she told me that I could adopt her. I never heard that lady say an unkind word about anyone. I visited her when she still lived in her home and always took her gifts at Christmas and I visited her in the Nursing Home too. The last visit we had she told me" I want to go home-can you take me home?" I thought to myself-it probably won't be long and you will be at home for good.I love you Minnie Mae and you were such a blessing to my life!!!!

What an awesome privilege I had to know Sis. Minnie Mae(Nanny) all of my life and be blessed by the Godly life she lived daily. She loved every child that went thru her S.S. class and always carried our 'needs' and 'concerns' to God as though they were her own-what an intercessor she was for all of us. During her last days at SRH & Rehab, her heart's desire was to go 'home'. I know without a doubt she's there rejoicing with so many others that have gone before her. May we always be challenged by the life she lived, the love she had for God and may we also continue to 'press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God'-heaven! Prayers for all of the family and may God comfort you as only He can. Sandra Fowler

May God's peace reign during this difficult time of the passing of Sis Bardin. I shall always remember her motto when asked if she lived alone; it was,"just me and MY Jesus." She is now sitting at his feet. PTL
