I visited Shippy once at Harbor's Edge and found her playing solitare. She was her usual hospitable and gracious self. Bob and I were late-comers to Trinity Church in the 60s and our family included my mother, not an Episcopalian. Two of the warmest welcomers were Shippy and Robert, I expect the Good Lord will appoint Shippy to be on his welcoming committee. And isn't it wonderful that now she can hear!!
