Poquoson - Earlene passed away peacefully at home on March15, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents and loving sisters Lois & Angie.
Earlene leaves behind her husband Michael, daughters Disa (Brett) and Jill (Lonnie), and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Family would like to acknowledge her best friends for their love and compassion, our friends, neighbors and extended families for keeping us in their thoughts and prayers and the doctors and staff at Virginia Oncology for their dedicated care for the past 20 years.
"The time has come to say goodbye, my life on earth has seen the light. Good times, bad times, I 've enjoyed them all...summer, spring, winter, fall. I have stayed true to myself. To everyone I love: be thoughtful, loving, and kind to others. Erase fear, hate, and prejudice. Do what you can to make PEACE in the world. Practice it one day at a time."

Earlene was a dear friend, I have known her since I was a child, we all grew up together on Wingfield Ave. We recently went to the outer banks last year to duck and we had such a great time and I know Earlene had a good time also, she will be missed by all as she was a wonderful person, rest in peace and we will never forget you. our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
