Eva Holloway Ford NORFOLK - Eva Holloway Ford, 87, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, was the daughter of the late John P. and Octavia Weston Holloway and the widow of Charles E. Ford Jr. She was predeceased by two brothers, W.G. "Skinny" and A.W. "Al" Holloway. She will be deeply missed by her beloved son, Charles E. Ford III, wife Pamela, beloved daughter, Donna F. Steiner, husband Michael and granddaughter, Samantha. She is survived by her brother, John P. Holloway Jr., wife Joan, sister-in-law, Faye Ford Cavender and a host of nephews and nieces who were all very dear to her. She is also survived by her dear friend, Roy C. Sutton Jr. Eva was an accountant with Old Dominion University for 20 years. She was involved with activities in the church, playing the piano, serving as treasurer of the United Methodist Women, and secretary to the Administrative Council. She thoroughly enjoyed playing bridge and Mah Jongg with special friends. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the Ballentine Home where Eva spent her last months. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ballentine Home, 7211 Granby St., Norfolk, VA 23505.
