Hazel Combs Obituary
Virginia Beach - Hazel Parvo Combs, 92, passed away December 7, 2016.
Born in Live Oak, FL, she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Rosa McClellan and the widow of William I. Combs. She was an interior decorator with Sears and liked to travel. She was a member of Unity Village Church where she was an active volunteer.
Left to cherish her memory: her son, John Combs and his wife, Sylvia; grandson, Adam O'Bryant; great niece, Darlo Miles and her husband, Duane, and their son, Duane, Jr.; and loving and dear friend, Bearnie Drews and her husband, Karl.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com

John and Sylvia, I am sure Hazel is looking down on you and so thankful for the many years you took such great care of her. She could not have asked for a better son. You were very loving and always took care of her every need. And Sylvia was a very understanding wife and did what she could to help. Hazel was so cute and pleasant during the times we visited. I am so sorry for your loss. Love, Leslie
