Lafayette Hall, Sr. of Virginia Beach passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Lafayette Hall was born on November 12, 1970 to Douglas and Ethel Mae Hall in Ahoskie, North Carolina. After graduating from Floyd E. Kellam High School in 1989, he went on to be a skilled Pipe Layer who worked for Construction companies throughout Hampton Roads for 30 years. Lafayette Hall went on to have three children, Lafayette Hall, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia; Marcus Xavier Valentine of Orland Park, Illinois; and Rakiyah Loraine India Marie Williams of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased in death by his mother, Ethel Mae Hall. He is survived by his children and grandchildren, his father, Douglas Hall; his sister, Joanna Hall; his brother, Alonzo D. Price (wife Ciara Price); his uncle, Albert Larry Hall and Cousin, Benny Ward, Jr; and a host of nieces and nephew. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all that came to know and love him. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 11am at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. Norfolk, VA 23523. The viewing will be held Monday, February 27, 2023, at 2pm-6pm.
