To the Eley Family,
Mr. Eley made such a mark in the Ettrick area. He would always have a joke and a smile for us when we entered the store. I always asked how he was doing and hoped he would return to visit us. He will be missed! They don't make store owners like him anymore!

Early last summer I had the fortunate pleasure of meeting Walter Eley. I will always remember “Walt” as one of those unique people, rarely encountered in life that leaves an impression on us that we will carry forever. His love for his family, friends, and neighbors was clearly evident to me in the short time I spent around him. His quick wit allowed him to crack a joke putting even the most timid of people at ease, while his life experiences surely afforded him wisdom to make sound business choices and become successful.
Rae, please accept my sincerest condolences! Walt truly touched so many and has left a lasting mark on the world that is his family! Judy, my heart goes out to you, your siblings, all the children and grand children Walt leaves behind. Through you all he will continue to live on in our hearts and minds. I know he will in mine!
May God and his Angels watch over you all!
