William Bishop Obituary

On Friday July 2, 2021, William Thomas Bishop, passed away at the age of 64. He was born June 27, 1957 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer only four months prior to his passing. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Warren Bishop and his mother Norma Evelyn Bishop. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Bishop, his brother Edward Bishop, his daughters, Laura Veach and Sara Stuart, and his grandchildren, Dillon, Bradyn and Emmalyn. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was comforted by his loving son-in-laws, Andrew Veach and Robert Stuart. He was known for his spirit and sense of humor. He was an avid catch and release fisherman and loved fishing with his daughters and grandchildren. He was a proud professional long haul truck driver for both the Navy Exchange and Con-way Southern Express. He loved sports and was a Washington Redskins fan. He loved watching Shark Week and putting up Christmas lights. He was incredibly kind and was always thinking of others. He is sorely missed by his family and friends. A memorial will be held in Virginia Beach date TBD. Please contact his family for details.
