I miss seeing Butchie. Enjoyed lots of lunches in Kitchin's Kitchen with Butchie and "Hugh Boy". Taken too soon.

I worked with Butchie at the Sea hawk Motel and Kitchins Kitchen from 1963 to 1967. Butch was a fine person and a great guy to be around. I have thought about him often over the years. He will be missed by many.

My deepest sympathy to Radi and Butch's family. Our business relationship (helping with the sale of the families Duck properties) became a long-lasting friendship; he was a great guy and a person whom I admired very much.

Thank you for being my school teacher.
And thank you for keeping Va. Beach Jr. High class of 1973-1974 safe. I will never forget you. Thanks for everything else you did for our city. You set the example that I try to follow everyday.

To the extended Kitchen family,I send my love and condolences.
"Budgie"(for all you late-comers to the game this is Hugh,s original nick-name)was a lifelong friend, friendly rival, and one of the best genuine, human beings to ever walk the planet.A stand-up man if there ever was one.I will always miss him and, more importantly, love him.
