Benjamin Gannon Obituary

NORMAL - Benjamin David Gannon, 26, of Normal passed away at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at the OSU Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. His graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Bradford, Ill.

Ben was born Nov. 11, 1984, in Bloomington, Ill., to Dave and Donna Russell Gannon.

Surviving are his parents, Donna Gannon of Normal; Dave and Denise Gannon of Bloomington; two brothers, Jon Gannon of Normal and Cody Kirk of Bloomington; and one sister, Emily Gannon of Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pediatric Cardiology Unit of the Children's Hospital of Illinois at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill., or the Children's Hospital of Cincinnati.
