Darrell McCloud Obituary

WASHINGTON - Darrell F. McCloud, 73, of Washington passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at his residence.

He was born on June 15, 1942, in Eureka, Ill., the son of Darrell and Florence McCloud. He married Sandra Joyce Lantz.

Surviving are his four children, Frederick Smock, Christine Renew of Chapin, S.C., Lisa Baker of Bullard, Texas, and Scott McCloud of Fort Worth, Texas. Also surviving are six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his mother, aunt and one grandson, Jacob Rogers.

He was an honorably discharged U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 35 years, before his retirement.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Fred's life was at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015.
