David Paul Stufflebeam
TRIVOLI - David Paul Stufflebeam, 79, of Trivoli passed away at 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist.
He was born on October 23, 1940, in Canton, IL, to Paul and Helen (Smith) Stufflebeam. He married Elaine Beecher on October 20, 1963, at the Farmington United Methodist Church. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Dawn of Hanna City and Dana (Bill) Guppy of Glasford, IL; three grandchildren, Lillian, BreAnn and Brogan; one great-grandchild, Callia Jane; one brother, Charles Stufflebeam; and one sister, Gayla Chockley.
David was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael and Howard Stufflebeam; and one sister, Elizabeth Stufflebeam.
David worked and retired from Caterpillar, Inc. on April 1, 1997. He was a farmer most of his life. David was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church. He loved animals, old country music and his children and grandchildren. David was also a die-hard Cubs fan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Farmington United Methodist Church, where a visitation will be held an hour prior. The Rev. Walter Carlson will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Trivoli, IL.
Memorials can be made to the Farmington United Methodist Church.
