Jamie and family, so sorry for your sudden loss of Eldo. he was a kind, gentle , Godly man. My mother , Ethel Neuhauser, appreciated his services of driving the van in taking her to Hospital visits/appointments on many occasions, while she was a resident of Maple Lawn Home I know she received undivided attention by Eldo. As a 2nd cousin, I remember many yearly Householter Reunions/gatherings of playing together and getting acquainted with relatives. Such fond memories of great family that Eldo was a part of. May God's Peace and Comfort be with you all.

So sorry for your sudden loss , Jamie and family..
I remember Eldo as being a kind , friendly , Godly man..My mother, Ethel Neuhauser, a resident at Maple Lawn Homes of 10 yrs, appreciated his help for her transportation to Eureka Hospital for services she needed on many occasion.. she looked forward to Eldo driving the van, and sure she got undivided attention.
I am a 2nd cousin, and have lived in Sterling for 62 yrs, but I grew up on a farm not far from Eldo's family in Eureka, and remember the fun yearly Householter Reunions held at Eureka College, 4-H grounds, Washburn Park and other places, where we got to know and interact with our Householter relatives.. Fond memories of wonderful families, Eldo included!
God's Peace and Comfort be with you all!

I have considered Eldo my friend since grade school. He has always been one of the sweetest people I know. Most recently I would see him at maple lawn while my dad lived there. He was truly never changing. Jamie and family, my heartfelt prayers are with you for comfort.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Eldo. He was a good friend end of mine all through Grade School and High School. We parted ways after high school but his friendship never faded over all the years. He always asked about me when ever he saw one of my relatives who remained in the area. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I'm gonna miss his Lovely smile and Great Love of gardening. He'd come to garden at my place and asked if I wanted anything special to plant. I would say just make sure you planted tomatoes so I could have BLT's for the summer. He greeted me with a smile always and told me take what ever I wanted out of the garden. So sad to see a Blessed man go, he's with our Great Redeemer looking down smiling at us. Don't cry for you'll see me again soon have faith that you will carry on without me love you all.
