Ilene Hild Obituary
TREMONT - Ilene R. Hild, 81, of Tremont, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born October 2, 1939 in Fairbury to Chris P. and Hannah Schurter Pflederer. She married Larry Hild on April 3, 1960 in Tremont, and he passed away April 15, 2005.
Also surviving are three sons, Bruce Hild, Brian (Jill) Hild, and Brad Hild, all of Tremont; four grandchildren, Zachary James, Brady Lee, Jacie Nicole, and Jamie Alexis; two sisters, Leona Ivie and Glenna Pflederer, both of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant grandson, Jacob Lawrence; and two brothers, James Pflederer and Chris Pflederer Jr.
Ilene worked in the cafeteria at the Tremont Schools and for Beecham's Market in Tremont.
She was a member of Tremont Baptist Church and the Quadniters H.E., Tazewell County Home Extension.
Her funeral Will be at 10:00 am Monday, December 21, 2020 at Tremont Baptist Church. Pastor Noah Lee will officiate. There will be no visitation. The service can be viewed live at http://youtube.com/TremontBaptistChurch.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Tremont Baptist Church or Mt. Hope Cemetery.
