I realize that Mike passed away over 12 years ago but I just now became aware of it. I was one of Mike's roommates/classmates at the Defense Language Institute learning Vietnamese for the US Army in El Paso, TX back in 1971. I didn't realize that he either stayed in El Paso or returned to there after his service since I left for Vietnam right after completing the course. I lost contact with him over the last 50 years but while trying to track him down, I found his obituary. He was a very intelligent and nice guy to know. I am very sorry for your loss especially since his life was so short. Phil.

Sinceriest condlences to the Correll family. I was fortunate enough to Intern under Mr. Correll for a summer with the Probation Department, where I work now. Spending that time under Mr. Correll gave me the opportunity to see just how intellegent, generous and compassionte he was. I enjoyed his unique sense of humor the most! You will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies are extended to the Correll family for their loss. I was fortunate to have worked with Michael for over 28 years and always found him to be very unique and caring individual willing to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate in our community. I have some very fond memories of our gatherings after work.

My deepest sympathy. I grew up with Mike, two doors away from his home. There were 3 Mike's in a row, Mike Garrison my brother, Mike McCabe and Mike Correll. Always remember that he had big train set up in the attic. My brother died about 7 years ago.
