So very sorry about Ross passing. He was my second cousin, my dad Jack was a cousin to John. Our paths crossed a few times, more recently while boating on the Illinois probably 7 years or so ago. We had a nice visit that day. condolences to Susan and family.

My condolences to the Canterbury family. I served with Ross for many years on the WTVP Board and also worked with him when I needed legal counsel on labor issues. I will always remember Ross as a kind, caring gentleman with a great wit and sense of humor. Godspeed Ross.

Deepest sympathies to the Canterbury family for their loss. I remember Ross many years ago as a great tennis player. Great sense of humor and love for his family and the law.

Ross was also the Center on the 1956-57 Frosh Peoria High School basketball team. The Team set a school record of one loss and twenty-one straight wins. Ross was the leading scorer on the 21st win against Peoria Limestone. I remember him well and am sad today.

If it hadn't been for my dear friend Ross, I never would have attempted to play football in high school, and although I wasn't particularly good at the game the experience change my life in the most positive way possible. When we were more closely associated, his being always brought balance and grounding and the voice of reason to my life. Although he was only two days older than I, he was years ahead in wisdom.
