PEORIA - Roxie Ann Smith, 65, of Peoria passed away at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at her home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1949, in Kewanee, Ill. She was a graduate of Weathersfield High School in Kewanee and later graduated from Mid-State College in Peoria.
Surviving are her two sons, Bernard Smith of Rainie-Valley, Wash., and Brian Smith of Cummings, Ga.; and four grandchildren; along with a host of other family.
She was a member of Ward Chapel AME of Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Ward Chapel AME.

My condolences to the Smith and Roulds family. I met Roxie in mid 80's and fell in love a very beautiful woman. She will always hold the fondest of memories of the time we shared together and I will really miss her infectious smile and laughter.
