PEORIA - Stephen C. Shoup, 53, of 5301 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born to Lester and Eunice Jones Shoup on April 22, 1953, in Peoria.
He is survived by his mother of Peoria.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Judy.
He worked at Federal Warehouse in East Peoria as a truck driver for 10 years and was also a self-employed painter.
Stephen was a talented musician playing the trumpet and guitar. He was a very loving and tenderhearted person and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and there will be no services.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in his name.
The Cremation society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.

Steve is without suffering now here on earth. I knew Steve from Dr. G's office so I know what a struggle he had with life. May the Lord have His mercy on Steve and confort you, Eunice.

i remember steve as a classmate at peoria high back in 1970. i had him in a few classes. i do not think i had contact with steve since then. my sincere sympathy to the family,my mother delores fowler also knew the family. steve, myself, bobby ray, jamie munson, we were all classmates. god bless you all in this time of grief. sincerely, art fowler
