David Gehringer Obituary

David J. Gehringer, 57, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y. He was married to Diane Moore Gehringer.

He was the son of the late Edward L. and Bertha Barry Gehringer and was born in Atlantic City, N.J. on Feb. 15, 1949.

He was a retired systems analyst for Prudential Insurance Company in Roseland, N.J.

He was a volunteer with the West End Ambulance Corporation, Coolbaugh Ambulance Corporation, Northeast Search and Rescue in Stroudsburg, and was ham radio operator N2EEE.

He is survived by his wife; his children, Daniel Garcia of Oakland, Calif., Matthew Gehringer of Flagstaff, Ariz. and Katie Osborne of Marshalls Creek; two brothers, Edward Gehringer of Cummins, Ga. and Barry Gehringer of Pittsburgh; his sister, Barbara Mullins of Cummins, Ga.; and a granddaughter, Mazzy Quinn Gehringer.

Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the Stroyan Funeral Home Inc., 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA 18337. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home with Eric K. Moore officiating. Cremation will take place at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Pike County Division, P.O. Box 2763, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2763.
