Uncle Walter was not only the only uncle that I really knew, he was also appointed godfather of my twin brother, Rob, and me. Through the years of our growth we received his stern advice, and stories of real life situations that made us all laugh and cry. He invited me and my family up to visit during the raceweek of the PA 500 in the year 2000. Although it must have been one of the busiest weeks of the year for him, he found the time to tour us around the area, take us to dinner and make my mother (his sister Ann) and I feel like the two most special people in the world. We were so thankful of the time we had together. Uncle Walter was dearly loved by me, and I will never forget him. I am so incredibly saddened by his sudden passing.
