Barbara Horner Obituary

Barbara M. Horner, 93 of North Port, Fla., passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the Port Charlotte Hospice House.

Barbara was born in Saginaw, Mich., on September 23, 1928, she was preceded in death by her soul mate, Thomas Diamond in 2003.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Barbara C. Lloyd, Robin R. Horner and his wife Sharon, Robert E. Horner and his wife Judy, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Prior to her retirement, Barbara worked in the Photo Finishing industry. Her hobbies were sewing and reading. After her retirement, Barbara started a small business tailoring military uniforms for local battle reenactment enthusiasts and doing the sewing, which she loved so much.

She was a faithful friend and loving mother to her children, grandchildren, and their children and grandchildren.
